Please note that
these are just guidelines. We are not responsible for installations done
by customers.
- Our graphics are shipped to you masked and ready to
install. If it is a small graphic, it will be shipped flat. If it is a large
graphic, it may be rolled up.
- For graphics delivered rolled up, let them flatten out
overnight.
- The surface where the graphic is going to be installed
has to be perfectly clean for long lasting results. Make sure all wax and
dirt has been removed. If it is an automobile, clean with soapy water,
followed by a degreaser (try a citrus cleaner or an automobile product like
"Prepsol"). For glass, try windex. Finish up by wiping with
alcohol. Let dry completely.
- Position graphic in desired location and hold in place
with masking tape. Be sure to measure carefully. For vehicles, measure from
the closest horizontal line (please note that in newer vehicles, there are
no truly horizontal lines, so you might have to gauge the best level
position by eyesight only.) Stand back to make sure that the graphic is in
the position you desire.
- Once the graphic is in the desired position, put a full
strip of wide masking tape across top to "hinge" the graphic in
preparation for installation.
- Lift up the graphic and gently remove the backing liner
paper. Lay the graphic back down slowly keeping the decal
taught. Slowly and firmly squeegee the graphic with a credit
card (to use as a squeegee). Work with side to side strokes and with an
outward motion, overlapping after every stroke to make sure that you push
all the air (and fluid, if wet install) out from under the graphic.
- Once you have finished squeegeeing, slowly and gently
peel off the transfer (or application) tape from the graphic at a 180 degree
angle.
